Payroll Clerk

This position is responsible for and will support a group of assigned locations for processing employee data changes to include job changes, pay information, terminations, etc.  Other responsibilities include creating and maintaining personnel files, filing, processing garnishments, and other projects.  They will also assist with preparations for processing payroll.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of two years payroll experience with strong computer skills, a demonstrated knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook.  Due to the nature of work, strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of information and daily operations is required.  The successful candidate must also have good communication skills, as contact with employees and other outside agencies is a regular occurrence.  They must know state and federal laws regarding pay, garnishments, and benefits.  Prior experience using Dayforce for payroll processing is preferred, but not required.
