Jacksons Food Stores has teamed up with Lula Commerce to bring online ordering and delivery to customers in properties in Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
“The initiative aims to revolutionize the way Jacksons interacts with its customers by providing seamless digital experiences across all major order-ahead and pickup marketplaces, including Uber Eats, DoorDash, Amazon, Grubhub, Seamless and Postmates,” the companies said.
“There is a new standard for convenience in the marketplace as in-store, pickup and delivery options give guests more freedom than ever to shop when they want to and how they want to,” said Cory Jackson, Jacksons Food Stores president. “Jacksons is once again at the forefront of the industry to offer our guests the best experience possible, regardless of how they choose to shop with us.”
The expanded partnership comes after Lula completed a pilot program supporting the delivery and pickup experience for Jacksons’ customers in Idaho’s Treasure Valley. The program created high demand and resulted in positive customer response, the company said. “This all-in-one solution will support Jacksons in reducing the internal resources needed to manage related tasks, allowing Jacksons’ team to focus on deeper customer engagement,” it added.
With the growing demand from customers for order ahead and delivery options, other retailers have launched programs or reached milestones: in May, Dandy debuted online ordering at 10 of its locations; Wesco reached $3 million in annual online sales; and Albertsons launched a “virtual convenience store.”
